Linda began her professional career in the mental health field as an LPN working with individuals with developmental disabilities and severe and profound mental illnesses.She achieve an undergraduate degree in Social Work from St. Mary of the Woods College, then graduated from Eastern Illinois University with a Master’s Degree in Community Counseling. Linda has over 45 years of experience working in various aspects of mental health services. Retirement found her spending time volunteering and enjoying her family and her little dog. However, she missed the challenges and rewards of working as a therapist. When Faith Griffin approached her about working part-time in her private practice, Linda was once again ready to put her education and experience to work. Her areas of expertise are adult mental health issues such as: severe and persistent mental illnesses, anxiety, depression, stress-related issues,marital/relationship issues, adult stages of life concerns, grief and post-trauma therapy.
