Receiving her Master’s Degree in Clinical Counseling from Eastern Illinois University, Faith holds extensive experience working with adolescents,adults, and seniors with mental health issues and their families. Through internships, education, and work experience, Faith has six years’experience working in therapeutic settings, and fourteen years’experience working in the human services field. Through her strength-based, holistic approach, she strives to help individuals achieve the goals they have in mind for themselves. She is skilled at working within local senior centers, the state health and human services system, and local school systems. Faith has a particularly broad experience in treating adults with severe and persistent mental health illness. She enjoys working with couples and families. She has experience empowering children and adults as an outpatient therapist in private practice. Faith’s areas of specialty are anger management, anxiety and depression, women’s emotional health,family therapy, public speaking, trauma treatment, child &adolescent behavior issues, and substance abuse/dependence. Faith is committed to providing the highest quality of care to promote healing and growth.
Faith became a therapist to help people navigate their complex worlds in order to live a healthier, happier life. She believes in a holistic approach to health; that all components of one’s life are interrelated.Faith is the mother of two teenage boys—Nathaniel Boggs, 19(Sophomore,offensive tackle playing for Lindenwood University) & Evan(Junior, Offensive tackle for Effingham Hearts) 16. Faith enjoys spending time with family& friends and perfecting her golf swing.
